About the Author

After studying Computer Science at ETH Zurich, Dr. Jean-Marie R. Fiechter has been working in the IT Industry for more than 25 Years. For the last 20 Years he has held Positions in Product Development (working at the Teradata Development Lab in San Diego), Consulting, Marketing and Product Management in the Domains of Massively Parallel Processing and Data Warehousing at NCR, Teradata, IBM, SAS and CubeServ. Since 2007 Dr. Fiechter is Head of BI Governance at Swisscom Ltd. Dr. Fiechter is a Certified SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence Consultant, as well as a Data Warehousing Teacher at several Universities in Switzerland and abroad, as well as a visiting Teacher for SAP (across Europe). Dr. Fiechter is also the Author of several Books on Data Warehousing.
