SAP Named Worldwide Market Share Leader for Enterprise Resource Planning

SAP-enterpriseSAP AG today announced it has been named the overall market share leader in the worldwide enterprise resource planning (ERP) market. According to the 24 April 2012 report issued by Gartner: “Market Share Analysis: ERP Software, Worldwide, 2011”, SAP ranks number one, with 25.5% share of the worldwide market based on revenue for 2011, reflecting a 13.2% growth from 2010.

We believe our market leadership, as recognised by Gartner, affirms this momentum.”

The SAP ERP application, included in SAP Business Suite software, provides solutions for finance, human capital management (HCM) and operations. Additionally, enhancement packages and rapid-deployment solutions enable customers to take advantage of new innovations whenever they need them, and to get up and running as quickly as possible.
